I rented a Previa in Jordan a couple years ago. Loved it. Wanted to buy one, but they haven't sold them in the US for a number of years. It was roomy, reliable, comfortable, and easy to drive. We drove it from one end of the country to the other, and went from the Dead Sea to Ras an Naqab (about 1.6 km above sea level) with no issues. The only issue is that Toyotas can be pricey for parts if you want OEM. But they don't tend to break down nearly as much as other models. They don't look all that nice, but great in so many other ways.
