I am shocked to read that the parents are in the predicament they are. Until now I have just assumed that they were being well looked after. By that I mean that they would have been well informed, consulted and indeed financially compensated for their loss (as they should be, more than generously!). They should be given no reason to stress at all, and their feelings should be a top priority in moving forward.

The fact that they feel the need for a petition tells me that instead of being well looked after, they are feeling out in the cold, and need to bring their situation to the attention of the public. And I am glad they have, because otherwise I would still be assuming that their every need was being tended to regarding the tragedy.

I am deeply saddened by this news. Come on Qatar, do the right thing. Where is all of that undying support the families were shown in the first couple of days after the disaster? Are they no longer important? Was the initial support just for show?

I will not boycott Villaggio because if I did it would make no difference whatsoever, and I do like the cinema there. But I hope I hear/read in the near future that these poor people have had all of their concerns addressed and that they do not have to resort to writing letters to the media again. They should not be made to suffer any further!
