No moza, much fuel is required to escape the earth's gravitation and then once its put into Mars' orbit not much fuel is required. Fuel would then be required in the forward thrusters during landing of the Rover.

Rover would need fuel on the surface of Mars to overcome the rolling friction on the surface. The fuel used in the rover to move around may have been methane and assisted by solar.
