LP, how the new sponsor could detect it? The person on the BV (a sane one)doesn't inform the new sponsor that he has bought this visa for the purpose of job search. But guess what, some idiots DO inform. I don’t hire such people. And I clear explain to them why. Well, this is both moral and leagl issue of dealing with semi-legal elements. Some companies, especially little miserable ones, are happy to have someone, who is willing to grab any job for 2-3K a months, and on top of this sponsor even doesn’t need to bring the employee to Qatar on his expense. But eventually the sponsor is having a risk of run-away employee, after money, efforts and time are invested in the RP process, just because next neighbour company offered the employee 500 riyals more. If you noticed, we have such type of the questions on QL all the time: “can I change the sponsor now, when I have done all the RP process, but the RP stamp isn’t placed into my passport?”. Trust me, 95% of those who does it are the ones who came to Qatar on illegal BV.
Legally obtained business visa is the visa:
- issued by some Company to the individual who is intending to work for this company for the certain period of time. It can be anything between 1-2 days to 3 months, depends on the assignment. (And such employee might get another job offer, while working in Qatar on the business visa. Nothing wrong with that!)
- COMPANY is the one who pays a Government Fee for the BV to the Government
- COMPANY is the one who pays for the airticket.
- The employee does not bear any expenses related to this visa, as he is the employee/consultant of the COMAPNY.
Illegally obtained business visa is the one that:
- has been purchased by the individual on the "gray market".
- the individual pays to another individual (usually PRO of some company) certain fee for issuing a business visa for him
- The individual obtains this visa for the purpose of looking for the job, not for the purpose of working for the company
- The individual buys the airticket himself;
- The individual has nothing to do with this company, and sometimes the Sponsor even doesn't know about this individual, until it's too late.
