Regime forces invaded the Damascus suburb of Douma with tanks and armoured units and commenced field execution of all present adult males; none were able to leave their homes to move the bodies fearing executions. Afterwards, regime forces began shelling the inhabited buildings and then raided the Hamdan hospital and executed several nurses.
 
Regime forces killed at least 91 today; 24 fell in the suburbs of the capital, 12 in the province of Aleppo, and ten in each of the provinces of Daraa, Idlib and Homs where the Syrian army continued to heavily bombard the residential areas.
 
The regime’s violations continued across the country as its forces shelled the town of Kherbet Ghazaleh, the towns of Qastoun and Hilfaya in the province of Hama, and the Damascus suburbs of Douma and Daraya. It also raided the town of Kafar Shams and the city of Daraa and torched the farms in the villages of Kinda, Rweisa, and Sweide in the province of Idlib.
 
Massive defections took place in the prisons of Deir Azzour and Tadmor resulting in massive clashes, while revolutionaries destroyed the officers club of Deir Azzour.
 
According to Syrian Oil Ministry sources, an Iranian tanker arrived in the port of Banyas two days ago with a shipment of gas.
 
Turkish military sources said that Turkish fighter jets carried out sweeps along the international borders after Syrian helicopters closed in. The Assad regime has shot down a Turkish reconnaissance airplane on international waters after it had allegedly violated Syrian territory. The missing pilots of the shot down plane have not been found yet.
