My wife (Taiwanese) and I (British) will be moving with our son to Doha in August (as long as she can get a visa)if that helps!
BTW I also got the error message and ended up with multiple post on my own thread 'Visa for my Taiwanese wife coming to Qatar' sorry about the multiples!!
