The fact is there a few pointers which your instructor will give you, which you have to remember when taking the test,like look out of your left window, can u see the edge of the back bumper, then turn the wheel twice etc etc...these are surefire tips to get thru tests like L-test and pocket parking..
and if the driving instructor does not tell you these, your chances of passing is considerably reduced..
When I went to one of the driving schools here 5 years back, the instructor was a Srilankan, and he hinted on the second day that he wanted to call his family, and does not have money for a telephone card.. i gave him 50 Riyals..and then he taught me some of these tips..
the day before the test, he told me he knows the cop, and for 500 riyals he can fix the test, even if i fail..thanx, but no thanx, i told him, went ahead and passed in flying colors..
