If I am doing the speed limit in the outside lane then I am perfectly entitled by law to be there. There is no obligation on my part to move out of the way or go faster to assist someone who is breaking the law, especially if this involves endangering my live, the lives of occupants in my vehicle or other road users.
While it is universally accepted in Qatar that flashing ones lights means move out of my way, all it does is annoy me and make me less likely to move.
I am in control of my vehicle and therefore I make decisions based upon speed, road conditions, traffic volume and planning relating to my destination (again I have every right to be in the left hand lane when approaching a roundabout if it is my intention to make a left turn)
Why should some aggressive, unthinking, selfish moron employ bullying tactics just because they have to get to Costa or some other equally non-life threatening appointment?
