It just seems like some women seem to be less confident about themselves and try to be "submissive" to their partner to make them happy with them. I don't see them living a happy life because sooner or later she will start getting tired of it and problems will arise.

Young women have it tough too since all they want to do is leave their parents house and finally be on their own. Marriage is their escape route.
