salam offers the lowest price as far as i know... go for canon 550d or 600d... it will cost you around QR3,200 to QR 4,000 including some accessories you'll be needing... if you'll add lense, go for sigma 17-70mm f2.8-4... it's a good lense for portrait, landscape & even night photography... also, before buying, you must learn the technicalities of the camera such as balancing the shutter speed, apperture value, ISO, exposure value, picture style, white balance, metering... if you want to learn it, buy DSRL, if not, better go for a point & shoot which is cheaper one...
