After the pain and deaths I've seen even in my family of those addicted to smoking and/or alcohol I can only feel joyous to know of someone eliminating such vices before they find themselves eliminated! All the best and keep it up and should your friends try to pressurize you into resuming your old habits then you may need to rethink such friendships.
