haha great to read all the mommy love responses from grown people..just shows how great an influence mothers are for both men and women..while i've never been in a relationship, i feel wives shouldn't be bothered by this preference for mom's cooking..i'm sure guys appreciate their women and love them..but the wives need to accept that mothers are always the first loves of any man's life (like a dad is for a girl)..and while a wife may indeed boundlessly love her husband, I still feel no love is more natural and unconditional than a mother/child one..the very nature of it is divine and pre-ordained by God. Which is why regardless of our gender, most of us love Mon's cooking. Because her key ingredients are heaps of love stirred in with the joy of cooking for her child. Love you Mom:-)
