My family is with me and we've thoroughly enjoyed it. Qatar is a decent place to live, although like most decent places it has its peculiarities, irritating aspects, etc. Expat families are well catered for in term of schools, life style, shopping, etc. In fact, I would say that it is much better for families than single people.
