the question isn't clear. Did they offer you a job, and just waiting for the visa? Or you are still waiting for the job offer? What chances do you want us to evaluate: chances of getting a job offer or chances of the company of getting your visa?
Also, I didn't understand, did you give them your original passport in December, and they still keep it since then?? for what??
