Regarding the shops, is it any surprise that they aren't very busy. This is a mall country, not a strolling around inside/outside culture. People here don't even leave their cars to buy a cup of tea, can anyone expect shoppers to park and then walk more than 100m to buy whatever it is they sell at The Pearl?
And is it my imagination or is every shop at The Pearl claiming to be on sale day in, day out? Everyone knows that even when the shops on The Pearl are n sale, you can buy the same designer labels cheaper in stores abroad.
The whole concept just doesn't seem to make sense to me, but then I have simpler tastes than the people that someone was expecting to flock to the Pearl.
