A good resource for Qatar is the booklet Marhaba which you can find in any grocery store. But, excuse me for being nosy, why Doha? It certainly doesn't offer good wages or working conditions for people who are "local hires", those who are not recruited from their homelands. If you have no contacts or connections here, this may not go as well as you might think. I know of one gal who is an RN with a master's degree and is a personal trainer and aerobics teacher. She was offered the manager's position in a five-star hotel for $2.12 an hour as a local hire. But good luck, if you've nothing better give it a try! Remember, Doha is as expensive as New York, if not more so.
