I have just been through this process and nearly out the other side. I also work for HMC so you don't need all the usual docments everyone else does, immigration at Hamad can give you the list you need, and you don't need to wait six months either because you only need your letter from immigration which states no objection and your salary details. I applied with a colleague, his was approved, mine rejected. No reason, just they had reached their quota of approving visas. I told them I could not wait three weeks and wanted to know why it was rejected. I asked to speak to the captain, he helped some people but alas not me. I then went to the second floor and the second office on the left of the corrider. Knock and enter, this man can help you. Tell him your problem and he will take it to the director or tell you what the problem is. It didn't happen for me immediately I came back again to remind him, he then did it. You just stand in the line of people doing pretty much the same thing as you. Eventually I was told it was done and although my rejected status took a day to change it is now under process with a visa expiry date. I know from my friend's experience that tomorrow it should be approved and ready for printing. Don't wait, don't reapply, just keep going back to this man. I applied on 21st Dec and fingers crossed tomorrow I will have my daughters visa in my hand. It was tough but so worth it. Best of luck :)
