there is a way around this. It all depends on which nationality you are an where your degree is issue.

For example if you are from the UK you can send your degree to the Foreign and Commonwealth office to be legalised, if it is from a UK university this should be no problem. Once it has been legalised it is sent to the Qatari Embassy to be Attested. Once this is done your degree should be ok.

This does depend on whether your degree is seen as a valid one and where you get it legalised from.
