Which coconut meat do you look for, niyog or buko? You can find both in Lulu. They sell sometimes the whole fresh coconut or you can buy it frozen. The frozen one is available sometimes in carrefour also.

If you are planning to make buko salad and if ever the coconut meat is not available, I suggest you to use the bottled macapuno. Drain it well (but dont wash) before mixing it with the other ingredients. This will add sweetness to the salad; so, all you have to do is to lessen the quantity of the condensed milk and add more cream.
