Most people would rather be in denial of their shortcomings than have someone come confirm them. I for one don't mind being corrected but it must be politely. Sugar coating is a must! Cos when someone comes up all rude and insulting what they say, no matter how true, will likely be rejected. Good manners and kindness can by far achieve better results. Correct a person's mistake but please don't attack their ego in other words!
