While i agree with your perspective, i can't blame my compatriots who have this sentiment, as it's the blessing of A rentier state. In their minds , they are entitled to those privileges when they pledged alliance with that tribe 100 years ago.
I'm glad that the younger generation who where interviewed seems to have a different perspective & understand the challenges of global competitiveness.
The documentary raise also other issues that doesn't affect Qataris only like employment by Nationality
Also discusses the alarming issue of government Layoffs & early retirement where more than 3500 Qatari employee been identified as surplus
Addressing those issues are important to curb the increasing xenophobia
