I am not going to debate DTFF, is it worth the money etc. etc. there are plenty of much better informed people who can do that. But it doesn't mater how much money you throw at it here, or indeed in any other country, nothing will ever replace Cannes. Thus I feel the statement "DTFF Its Way Into Being the Next Cannes?" is perhaps a bit on the optimistic side.
