Agree with jjjjjjjj75. The problem here is that the roundabouts don't flow here. And this is because the majority of drivers don't know which lane to enter a roundabout, nor do they know when it's time to shift lanes to correctly exit the roundabout. It's not rocket science, but I don't think you could ever (no mater how much training you give) educate all road users in Qatar how to use one of these excellent British inventions.
Thus here in Qatar I too would tear out all roundabouts and replace them with signals. It would make me feel a lot safer.
