I call it Rus Malai (not Rus Gulla) 

Here’s my own...

  • For goliyan

Powder Milk preferably Nido: 1 Cup

Flour No.1 (Maida):  1.5 (derh) Tea spoon

Baking powder: 0.75 (pon) Tea spoon

Egg: 1

Mix all well and make dough, then form 18-20 small balls  


  • For sheera

Powder Milk: 1 Cup

Cardamom 8-10

Sugar: 1 Cup

To prepare sheera dissolve powder milk in 4 cups of water, mix 1 Cup of sugar, all cardamoms and boil...transfer all balls of ras malai into the boiling milk for 5-8 minutes and turn off the burner.

After half an hour place it in the refrigerator...garnish with sliced pistachios and serve it chilled...
