The job takes me between 4 gulf cities every month and I can say Doha is still a Bedouin camp compared to Dubai and A/Dhabi.

Foreigners have more respect and are treated comparatively better in Dubai and A/Dhabi.

Weirdly enough high quality accommodation is cheaper in Dubai and A/Dhabi as long as you are not bent on staying on any of the avenue of stars.

Groceries are cheaper as long as you are not addicted to shopping on the Oxford streets and Savile Rows.

You feel less lonely as a foreigner because almost everyone is foreign.

Authorities still take sides with locals but where do you ever see one?

So many tourists, the cocoon of anonymity is priceless.
