This smells like a SCAM by some companies to suck some blood out of the employee. The payroll in and out system is dust in the eyes to fool the employee. If the companies are practicing this unwritten rule then the written rule should override it which is that 3 days of EID is fully paid public holiday.


So what if the employee is on a travel during the EID for business leave, conference leaves or some good companies even provide emergency leave for death in the family? I’m sure there will be some makeup internal rule to benefit that company.
