Raven, Some Companies will consider it if the Eid holidays are falling at the end of the leave but not all. They (the Companies) are looking for a chance like this to pay less to their employees as there is nothing to prove they are wrong. In your case the Company would have considered your leave until the day before eid and you were not able to join because of the Eid holidays.
