For eg. You are on annual leave with 21 days paid leave for 21 days and eid is falling in between. You are already paid for those 3 holidays. If you are on a 2 week unpaid holiday then also you are not entitled to get any payment in those 2 weeks even if there are official holidays in between as you are on unpaid leave. In order to get the 3 eid holidays you should be in the payroll and if you were going the day before eid and your leave was starting after the eid holidays then you are entitled. If eid was falling at the end then you should have joined the day before eid to get the holidays as well as salary for those three days. I hope you understand.
This is the unwritten law which is justifiable by the Company and I dont think you will get anything out of it if you go for a case.
