JL, no that wasn't offensive as such. this thread was about slut walk (an attempt by women/society in general to bring awareness that Women who dress 'less' (or non-conservatively) are NO SLUTs.

refering TOI on some incidents related to rapes wasn't warranted at all in my opinion...on a lighter side, "K" word is sensitive to all of us , you know it well :)
