Exactly Flor.  There are always naysayers before these events.  Remember the lead up to Athens - the whole world was questioning whether they could pull it off.  Same with Salt Lake City.  South Africa got its share of critics too.

If Qatar wants to host world events like this, then being criticised comes with the territory.  It's getting pretty boring listening to how this is all some western, anti-arab, anti-Islam, pro-Israel zionist conspiracy.

If you don't want the world watching your every move, then don't bid for world events.  But if you do, then you have to deal with the criticism.  For the next 11 years.
