Totally agree with you about the service of the Indian Embassy. What's even good is that one gets their passport back the same day and the Embassy has numerous visas to process regularly in systematic way.

I applied for a visa from the Spanish Embassy and we was very disappointed with the whole process.We waited for almost three weeks for an appointment which is only available on a particular day a week for a few hours,one has to hand in their passports to Embassy for generally more than two weeks, their request is for personal bank accounts(so it's all about the money) and if you phone their offices you lucky if someone answers.
