I have been using a 10.2 inch windows tablet for almost a year now, it is from china...so far so good.... and i love it.... pretty cheap as well compared to those branded ones...........

As to its resposiveness... it is a capacitive touch screen... not far enough how you feel the responsiveness of ipad/iphone and other touch screen gadgets....
