Park and Ride would be a solution. This is where you park in a large parking lot not too far away, and a free shuttle bus moves you to and from the destination.

However I am happy to pay these rates if it means I can arrive and park without the stress of fighting for a space. If I still have to do battle and I am getting charged for it, then it could spell the end of me and City Centre.
