Raheemullah, was the king of being on time. I used to be employed under him for over a year and he taught me all the different ways to ensure you always get to a venue on time. Like go by there the day before to determine the time based on traffic etc..yes he was that much a stickler for timing!
A lot of Sri Lankans have this joke that we are never ones to stick to a time and after coming to Doha I found my American friends say the same about themselves too. ie they are always late!
Constant tardiness is a human weakness IMO and not gender based or to do with any nationality and race. and one should try always to be on time. This I believe is a part of keeping your word. Maybe it sounds far fetched but thats how I see it.
