As in nearly all aspects of bringing up children there is no one size fits all solution here.Personally I chose to stay at home after the birth of my daughter and I feel no regrets. I suppose it may also have to do with the fact that I never really relished working having been compelled to work since I left school and till I married. It certainly all works in our favor as far as my daughter's upbringing goes. That said I'm certainly in awe of all those "super moms" who manage both a career and run a good home too. Respect!
