i’ve written in many different threads earlier, I’m not really fond of random Qatarisation. Nor do i agree in the whole “Why expats are paid more” notion and did highlight enormously , how Qataris took the term “welfare state” for granted, Not benefiting from the many education choices the government offer the Qatari citizens.

But...

i can't ignore the escalating feeling of resentment among Qataris nor the stats of Qatari lay offs or the increasing number of under 40 Qataris who went into early retirement

There are Masters/PHD holders who are turned down for being over qualified!

With the almost absence of free speech, why curb any attempt to shed a light of some of our fellow citizens dilemma?

After all, this is is addressed to the Government not the Expatriates

Maybe the peninsula should've not published this Op-Ed in the first place...
