we are not talking about profit or shareholders - we are talking about government ministries.
But when it comes to private industry a balance has to be maintained between the employee pricing themselves out of employment for the work they actually do...and...the employer paying enough so that the general population has enough money to buy the goods/services that their buisness relies upon to keep functioning.
BTW Rizzo - you remind me of my younger communist days, where I would spout off marxist theory without a clue as to how the world really functioned, irrelevant to whether I liked the way it worked or not.
I suppose I am still of 'the left' in a lot of ways, just not so much economically now days. You have a lot of growing up to do.
