"Being a teacher please enjoy encouraging student regardless their caste and creed."
This is a given - in a school such as mine with 24 different nationalities I delight in all students success.
I am going to repeat again....in every post I made I was very certain to applaud these girls achievements and congratulate them - they deserve no less.
The point I was making was about the reporting of the story. I will quote you two of the responses on the Dawn News website article that may help explain my point a little:
"The Marching Morons says:

A really good news, but will their idea be materialized or will it simply be a case of blank “mashallah” and no action?"
What I objected to was using these girls real achievements to bolster a rather nastily disguised piece of manipulated jingoism by the Dawn News journalists. It dishonoured their achivements and could serve to belittle them in the long run.
I do not object in anyway, shape of form, to the girls winning a prize for their hard work and talents - wherever they may come from.

Did they actually win or say have an honourable mention or were just participants in the event?"

I hope that is clear.
