Much has been said about the above topic. Yes, I too agree that there is a serious decline in the teaching standards of teachers appointed there. Whle one or two may stand apart, all others have poor communication skills in english and the tone is 'malluish'. It doesn't matter from which state the teachers have been appointed as long as it doesn't affect the education of our children.
And, here I would also like to add about the state of teachers. They are all stressed out to the very core and paid a mere scale of 2500-2800. Do you think this is a respectable pay scale for the 'elite group' the teachers belong to? How will they get the motivation to do their best for this amount. Of. course the management immediately converts the figure in INR and says they are paid higher than what the teachers get in India. But according to the living conditions here is this amount sufficient? When the fee structure is the highest in DMIS, why shouldn't the teachers (here I mean all the teachers irrespective of what level they teach)out of it? That could be a capsule to boost their morale and motivate them to do more and which ultimately would benifit our own children. Also, parental influence should be kept to minimum unless utmost necessary.
Also, I would like to add that I find the principal of the school very fake. I have personally met him twice on different occassions and both the times he tried to impose his thoughts on us (me and my husband) without actually listening to what we had to say.
I would like to know what you all think about the points I mentioned above.
