To be honest, I'd advise any single lady who'd like to move down here NOT TO!
I have been here for a long time (and by that, I mean long) and I must say the experiences are horrible!
Single ladies are very vulnerable and easy targets by the silly married ones who are insecure and think all single girls, unmarried, are all out to hop on their husbands. If you have to move, Dubai is a more relaxed, unassuming place to start your life afresh. Move here if you have a family and / or friends that supports and defends you come rain or sunshine! It is a crazy society! Everyone knows everyone!
P.S:. I like the serenity and the beautiful view of the city at night from the Corniche, by the way.
