Qatari Suger, you typify all that I think is wrong with the sponsorship system and how certain (and I am not being specific) nationalities treat their domestic helpers.
This is modern day slavery, exploiting people who know no better and when they do realise what a bad deal they are getting, in terms of treatment and wages, they can do nothing about it as passports are witheld.I thought this is considered Haraam - obviously not!
BTW, I work in recruitment and US nationals(or any other western expats for that matter)DO NOT get paid more than Qataris.
