This is really heart rending to read. I do hope those who committed the crime pay for it.

But to look at it from another point of view - of the laid off workers. I am not condoning the act but when one looks at it these workers are dependant on their job to provide a warm meal for their family. And when they lose their job whether due to recession or any other reasons, they lose their mental balance solely because they have no way of now providing for their familiy. And in many cases these families are joint families where there may be only one earning member to depend on.

Frustration at their lot makes them lose their sanity leading them to behave in such a way. A sad plight.
