Thats morbid!
When I was a kid I once caught a moth with my goodminton racquet. Then I poured molten wax on it to make it's wings heavy. But I felt so bad after that I bashed up my friend who assisted me!
PS: Afterwards, I felt really ashamed doing such a horrendous thing!
I think it's the deamon in me that showed up on that occasion!
