I think Mubaraks time has come. He will fade away if not in this one then maybe the next one or he will die of old age.
But what worries me is that the popular sentiment of Egypt doesn't want any kind of relations with Israel. So even if democracy is restored people will vote for such a government which may not be as tolerant towards other religions as Mubarak was. So the question is Egypt may become less secular if there is democracy.
