With the internet and other technology being used in a positive way, people cannot be "isolated" or "controlled" anymore. The truth comes out, they see the fatcats enjoying their share of the booty while they grudgingly go about their everyday lives.
And there comes a point where it gets too much, pushed into a corner with life becoming so intolerable, there is no option except to rise up, stand firm and fight for your rights.
Democracy imposed from the outside will never work. It's has to be brought about by the country's own people/citizens. People can bring about change if they want to.
