I have read an article that stated that there is a "caste" in Nepal, sorry, can't recall the name, that is very poor, I read that some fathers sell their daughters into "slavery" for about 25USD a year. It also said that said fathers then drink away the money. Apparently alcohol dependency is quite widespread in that particular community. I wonder if there might be a problem with alcohol amongst some Nepalis here? As they can't afford to buy it or have no permission to do so, maybe they are consuming dangerous liquids that then cause harm like hallucinations etc? Which then may cause then do die or kill themselves?
Just a something I was contemplating.
