Car--depends on what you want. 2500 a month (if that includes operating, licensing and insurance) will get you something nice but small. Personally, I think driving a small car in Doha is like playing Russian roulette.
Rent--you could pay less or you could pay much more. It depends on what your personal standards are and where in Doha you want to live.
