I think for a rich country, doha zoo is depressing and sad. I took my family there last year and after 10mins we left in digust. All the animals, especially the large cats were kept in cages that were tooooooo small and appeared to have no 'life'.
I think all zoo's should be banned, leave the animals in thier own environment or visit a reserve. We have the net now so do not need animals in captivity to see them......
