i am quite happy with what i am doing... Job with my previous company didn't allow me to apply most of my multiple skills, but my current job involves activities, where most of my skills have come in handy, and i am happy with that.
I didn't become a ballerina, as i was dreaming while was a child. I did ballett for several years in school, but my dad said to me: either you become the best in this field, or don't bother to chose it as your profession. I loved ballett and dancing in general, but it looks like i didn't have enough technical abilities to become one of the best in there.. so I switched my professional orientation. I still love to dance, but i never regret that i haven't become a ballerina.
I tried few different areas, but two things would have never crossed my mind: to becomes a doctor (even the smell of the hospitals knocks me out), and to become a teacher (even though my Mom is a teacher), I am too impatient to teach. I prefere to do it myself rather than to explain 100 times the same thing again and again :)
But I cannot agree with your "There are lucky people who don't need to work even a single day of the week". I quit my previous job because I was sooo bored there! it was absolutely nothing to do, and I started feeling like useless idiot. And at that time i did wait
till the day is over, till the week is over.. and time was just dragging. Now I don't have to wait :)..days are flying..week has just started, and the weekend is already there ..:)
