But to put things according to your terms both head and neck are equally important, the head has the eyes and mouth and ears all of which is vital in providing for the body, eyes to see and learn, mouth to eat and talk, ears to listen and understand.

If there was no neck the head cannot survive coz all the vital parts of the body lie below the neck :P
